Southern Style Pulled Pork BBQ in the Slow Cooker
Pulled pork barbecue is pretty much heaven on a bun as far as I’m concerned and it seems every region has their own way of doing it. In the South, the barbecue is smoked and juicy, served as pictured here or with a little bit of clear mild vinegar sauce poured over it, perhaps some of our white bbq sauce. If you haven’t tried it, it’s a must!
This recipe makes it easy with the help of a slow cooker.
(the link to the vinegar slaw is in the post as well)
Strawberry Punch Bowl Cake
Indulge in a bite of heaven with this luscious Strawberry Punch Bowl Cake. Layers of moist vanilla cake, velvety pudding, and juicy strawberries are crowned with a cloud of whipped cream, creating a tantalizing symphony of flavors and textures. This recipe always screams summer!
With a sneaky shortcut, my quick and easy loaded baked potato salad recipe is so full of flavor, with crispy bacon, boiled egg, mayo, mustard, and sweet pickle relish.
Macaroni Salad
Al dente macaroni, crisp vegetables, savory bacon, and tangy pickles are what make this the perfect side for any pot luck! This is always a crowd pleaser.

Christy, my mouth is watering from just looking at all these goodies. I cannot wait to make the ribs. I have tried so many times to do them on the grill and it just didn’t work out. Thanks for all your wonderful posts.
I made the simple cake & it was OH so good. Have you ever adopted this to other different mixes?
Your post was just in time for our Memorial Day camping trip to Balsam Mountain in the Great Smoky Mountains! I made the pulled pork in the crockpot, the macaroni salad with bowtie pasta (because that’s all I had), and the vinegar cole slaw. It was all a hit – and was a perfect meal for camping. All we had to do was heat up the pulled pork, add a little BBQ sauce and top it with vinegar cole slaw for scrumptious sandwiches. Thanks for your perfect meal plan for our weekender!
Oh – I forgot to add that I baked the Strawberry Bread for our breakfasts (without the pecans) and my husband and I both loved it. He even told me to add this recipe to our list…great compliment! YUM
I just checked in to get some ideas for Memorial Day weekend. What perfect timing! I was thinking about making some pulled pork, and I guess you settled that for me. I had forgotten how much I loved your White Barecue Sauce. Thanks for always being here with great ideas, recipes and stories that make me homesick for family!
im making this macaroni salad today… looks yummy!!!!
I think the olives would be great Kelly! Happy Memorial Day to all SP readers! Thanks Christy!
My mom loves macaroni salad! I can’t wait to make this for her! I don’t have any pimentos though, I wonder if I can substitute olives with pimentos in them, hmmm… On second thought, I think I’ll just go out and get a jar of pimentos, lol! : )
