Why you should never ask an engineer how big your pantry is…

It was an innocent request, honest. I just wondered what the measurements of my pantry were. I had asked my husband a few times and he kept forgetting so before I headed off to bed I shot him a quick email because I knew he’d be working on his computer later and see it.
I woke up this morning to find this in my inbox…

~sighs~
That’s funny. I love it and probably would have done the same thing if I had someone ask me. (Guilty, I’m an engineer.)
But tell him he’s missing a dimension – there’s no overall height shown.
(ok, it would have to be a reference dimension, but does he really expect you to do that math?)
LOL, you are too funny Elizabeth!! When I tell him he missed something he will be mortified, it’s that Engineer in him.
Oh, my!
That says it all Donna!!
Thanks for the great early morning laugh! Men….He’s a sweetie for being so thorough and exact.
~giggles~ He is thorough! Ok, he is sweet too, but he is thorough!
lol, that’s funny. btw, last night Stephen told me he wants to be an engineer, does Ricky have any tips for a 14 year old….to keep him interested?
Thanks again for sharing. LYB
I will have to ask him for you and let you know.
So do you know what the pantry measurements are now? I’m still looking for the summary! :o)
I have no clue….
lol
Haha! I was wondering the SAME thing! – wayla0422
As the old saying goes, ‘be careful what you ask for’.
~giggles~ Ain’t that the truth!
This is hilarious! What a sweet hubby you have 🙂
LOL, you should have seen MY face when I saw it. ~blinks~
