Kraut lovers, come stand by me and we’ll have us a feast! If you are a devotee of the sandwich, you’ll LOVE the dip!
These are the chicken fingers my mom made when we were little that had all of the neighborhood kids riding their bikes to our house to see if she had any extra. These are also the chicken fingers my family begs me to make each week, even though they know I’m only gonna make them about once a month! (Gotta keep it special). The only think that can make something this good better is comeback sauce, recipe below!
You might look at this sauce and think “That’s too simple” well that should be your clue that it’s good! Even folks who aren’t mayonnaise fans (like me) rave about the wonderful blend of flavors in this sauce. It’s great on chicken, fries, burgers, etc.
These have proven to be as big of a hit with reader’s families as they were with mine! There is absolutely nothing like them. Click on over to the post and read some of the comments for yourself!
Pulled Pork BBQ in the Slow Cooker
Tender Babyback Ribs – in the oven!
Readers say: “This is the best recipe ever! I have used it many times. Everyone who has these tells me they are the best ribs they have eaten. Thank you for sharing! I want to try your barbeque sauce sometime, too.”
“I always thought ribs were hard to make. These were as good as ribs that I ever had including restaurants. I made these today and they were tender and cooked just right without much effort. Thank You.”
Christy’s Old Number 5 Barbecue Sauce
This is my signature barbecue sauce recipe that I developed a few years ago. Homemade barbecue sauce is easier than you think and this recipe has a unique flavor you won’t find in store bought!
Yes, there is natural sugar in the fruit but this salad doesn’t have any additional in the recipe. Whenever I take something to an event, I like to take one dish that will be unlike the others at times and often find the little break from the norm is highly appreciated! So in the midst of all the fun (and slightly heavy) appetizers, pull out this sugar free super fruit salad and enjoy fruity lightness!
While we serve iced tea with everything, mixing up a quick punch is an easy way to turn a get together into a party! You can easily alter the ingredients in this punch to make it team colors for a fun little touch – and maybe some added luck (if you believe in luck) ;).
I have made this several times and it has become a favorite. I’m diabetic and I’m eighty years young, so this super simple recipe is a “keeper”!!
P.S. I tried to be friend you on FB but I don’t think it worked. Hope you gat my request from FB.
I enjoy your postings on Instgram.
Your Iowa friend.
Hi Christy!
I love all your recipes and videos. I may be a Senior Citizen but a chef I am not and I learn from questions your viewers ask and that you answer.
I want to buy your cookbooks and I want to buy that tool that you use for breaking up beef!
Keep on doing what you are doing.
Thank you Martha, I hope you are able to get the cookbooks and the ground beef tool soon, I think you will love the tool and hope you enjoy the cookbooks!! I did get your request on Facebook and look forward to connecting with you there!!
I use my pastry cutter tool to break up ground meat into a fine crumble. Mine is stainless steel so I just pop it in the top rack of the dishwasher and it cleans up great, or wash by hand with dish brush.
Please I need a recipe for cream cheese sausage balls , by sunday morning
