I’m so excited for the holidays to be here, a time where we all gather together and give thanks for all of the blessings in our lives.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday season planned, too!
I’ve compiled a list of recipe ideas to help you plan your Thanksgiving meal below. Of course we don’t have all of this in one sitting but I wanted to give you plenty to choose from! Click on each recipe to view the complete tutorial of how to make it. Recipes which are in the Southern Plate Classic Comfort Food That Makes Everyone Feel Like Family cookbook are noted in the side along with page number. that most deserve our gratitude.
Christy thank you so much for putting this together. I know it was a lot of work. It was so helpful. Will be cooking several of you recipes during the Holiday, I pray you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. Tell your mom I wish the same for her. Love and prayers!
You forgot to mention your Overnight Turkey! https://www.southernplate.com/2008/11/overnight-turkey-easy-delicious-and-always-moist.html
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Thanks to your Mac & Cheese recipe, “my mac & cheese” is now the go to for all family get togethers. Thank you. Thank you, Thank you.
Thanks for sharing. As a child, my best friend’s mom made butter stewed potatoes.
It was always such a treat when I was invited to dinner and the potatoes were part of the meal. I will definitely be trying these.
Also, I would like to thank you for adding the Ziplist “button” to make it easy to save and sort your recipes.
I would love to have the grannys sheath cake recipe please.
I have been making the buttermilk salad for many years, but I always used peach jello. I am going to try the strawberry next time, looks great. Give the peach a try also, it is really good!!!!
These recipes are the best! Keep them coming! Do have a recipe for Cake Balls?
