Looking for an appetizer to make for the next game night that’s quick, easy, and delicious? Well, let me introduce you to my Southern-style BBQ air fryer chicken wings. These crowd-pleasing wings are coated in a delicious and flavorful seasoning, which includes hot sauce, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and creole seasoning. Cooked in the air fryer until crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside, you then toss the wings in a BBQ sauce before serving.
I highly recommend serving your wings with carrot, celery, and a side of ranch for dipping for the ultimate game-winning snack. Now, this makes a scrumptious batch that is more flavorful than spicy, with a lovely medium heat. But if you’d prefer less heat, you can totally reduce the amount of hot sauce.

I’m relatively air fryer illiterate. That said, I got one for Christmas and would love to try this recipe tonight!
We are always told to follow directions that come with appliances etc, but mine seems off. All recipes for wings I looked at agree with S.Plates timing. My fryer says 8 minutes. It’s your average Gourmia air fryer. I figured check at 8 cook to 12? Any helpful ideas welcome. Thanks
Aahhh! White sauce! Why didn’t I think of that!!!!
I recently received an air fryer and haven’t been able to use it yet. This is a great recipe to try although I’d probably leave some of the extra hot stuff out my crowd doesn’t like super hot. Thank you so much for a great way to get used to my new Appliance
Love using the Air Fryer for Chicken Legs! Will use this recipe for those too!!!
I see some asked about making these in the oven; I wondered that as well.
Also, I wondered if you could do this with chicken strips or tenders?
Happy New Year!
Wow this looks amazing and works for the holidays thanks
Dukes white BBQ is the best! I will be trying these !! TY
