Nestlé Family Holiday Exchange

Southern Plate 24/7 Moms Oh Amanda

Today we’re giving away a basket filled with stocking stuffers, including Wonka Fun Dip Books and a Crunch/Paul Frank Gift Basket! We’re also giving away a $100 Visa Gift Card!

To enter, join in the conversation about what is on your Christmas wish list this year.

I’ve been giving this a lot of thought, trying to come up with what I’d really like most of all. We have a roof over our heads, food on the table, and two healthy kids so there really isn’t a whole lot more to ask for. On the selfish side, I have some pots and pans that I love, two cats that are extra cuddly, and a dog that is so devoted the kids refer to her as “Mama’s Shadow”.

But it IS Christmas after all and I really should come up with something I’d like to have so here goes…

I’d like to pick up a few more school papers and find these on the back of them.

I’d like to enjoy more grins, chuckles, and silly jokes from these two little critters.

I might even like to get gussied up a time or two more and go out with this critter…

I’d like another year filled with good food and folks to share them with.

But most of all, I want another year of a whole lot of this.

🙂

…and a new hair dryer.  Hey, I do have SOME material needs ~winks~

To enter this giveaway, tell me what you have on your

Christmas wish list this year in the comments section below.

I’ll choose one winner at random tonight at 8:00 PM Central and announce here and on facebook so you can get back with us and your prize package can go out as soon as possible.

Disclaimer: I have partnered with Nestle Family to be a part of this Holiday Exchange series of blog posts. I have not been paid for a positive opinion and all opinions expressed within this post are my own. I haven’t left the house without makeup since I was in third grade and my hair requires enough product to sink a ship just to look like it isn’t clinging to my head for dear life. Oh, and I’ve broken both my pinky toes so many times I can no longer move them. ~takes a deep breath and smiles in satisfaction~. I feel all disclosed now. Good Luck!

  1. The only thing that I really wanted this year was for our whole family to get to be together for Christmas. Our son is in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk, VA and its has been a few years since we have been able to have both his family and our daughter and her family all here under one roof. It looked as if even though we had made plans and he had leave this year to come home, that it wasn’t going to work out. I prayed about it and even though they had a flat tire on the way down (only 3 hours away from their house) and had to spend all of their Christmas money on a hotel and new tire, they were able to make it here and we are having wonderful family times. Our grandsons are really enjoying playing together, my kids are enjoying being together and I am the happiest Ma’Maw in the world. I got my Christmas wish.

  2. I wish for a job for my husband whose company had a reduction in force last month. Even if we don’t get this wish, I know God will still bless us!

  3. SLEEP! Instead of being pregnant for Christmas and expecting a little bundle after the first of the year, I now have a two week old! So sleep is the first thing on my list, hehe.

  4. I wish that the joyfullness people feel during this season would extend all throughout the year. And, I wouldn’t mind recieving a food processor as a gift. : )

  5. Everyone in my family has a roof over the head, plenty of food to eat,and presents under the trees. My wish is for the same to happen for all the people who have lost their jobs, and for the homeless here in our country.

  6. My Christmas wish is selfish too… My husband and I and several people from our church’s choir (Lindsey Lane Baptist Church in Athens, AL) are going with four other church choirs to Bethlehem to sing in Manger Square. We’re going two days after Christmas and will be gone for almost 9 days! We’re all getting so excited about going to Israel!!! But my wish is (what I’m praying all the time for is) safe travels; no pat-downs from the TSA!!!; a safe journey while in Israel; good health on our travels; a wonderful, memory-filled, trip-of-a-lifetime with my hubby; sanity and a fun time for my kids with their grandparents who are driving in from TX to keep them; and then back home safe with lots of hugs from my boys. These are my prayers for all of us going!!!

  7. I wish for our economy to make a rebound….I wish for all those willing and able to work to find jobs/careers. I am hoping for new dishes to serve my family some of Christy’s great recipes. I have a lot of friends and family that are very thankful for her Holly Jollies recipe that my kids and I made as gifts.
