I’ve been giving this a lot of thought, trying to come up with what I’d really like most of all. We have a roof over our heads, food on the table, and two healthy kids so there really isn’t a whole lot more to ask for. On the selfish side, I have some pots and pans that I love, two cats that are extra cuddly, and a dog that is so devoted the kids refer to her as “Mama’s Shadow”.
But it IS Christmas after all and I really should come up with something I’d like to have so here goes…
I’d like to pick up a few more school papers and find these on the back of them.
I’d like to enjoy more grins, chuckles, and silly jokes from these two little critters.
I might even like to get gussied up a time or two more and go out with this critter…
I’d like another year filled with good food and folks to share them with.
But most of all, I want another year of a whole lot of this.
🙂
…and a new hair dryer. Hey, I do have SOME material needs ~winks~

Disclaimer: I have partnered with Nestle Family to be a part of this Holiday Exchange series of blog posts. I have not been paid for a positive opinion and all opinions expressed within this post are my own. I haven’t left the house without makeup since I was in third grade and my hair requires enough product to sink a ship just to look like it isn’t clinging to my head for dear life. Oh, and I’ve broken both my pinky toes so many times I can no longer move them. ~takes a deep breath and smiles in satisfaction~. I feel all disclosed now. Good Luck!
Well after being sick for 5 days I decided to go to Urgent Care this morning to be told I had strep throat/the flu. At this point I just want to be well, so when my grandboys come home I can be ready to enjoy them. My husband and have been raising them since they were 2 now the are juniors in highschool. Their dad has decided he he wants to spend more time with them and since they are out of school for two weeks I agreed, but what bothers me most about them staying with him, is that they miss church. I have missed them this week but, they will be home on Friday . Their Papa and I Put together their entertainment centers and on top is a 32 inch LG tv, I can’t wait to see their smiling faces. As for as my wants for Christmas, at this point in my life God has done enough and I’m very content. I just want good health and to see family and friends happy and for them to get connected to the one that was born in this Glorious season. Christy your family is beautiful, I wish you’ll many blessing this Christmas season.
i would also love more cuddles and giggles from my rugrats too, but more importantly, i would like for my entire family to realize that at this time of year we should be thankful for what we DO have and not say “i want, i want, i want”… i get frustrated with christmas because it always seems ALL about the gifts and not about the time spent together for laughs and cries… please santa, help bring the spirit of christmas back to all of us and keep us healthy, happy and wise!… oh and some warm weather our way wouldn’t hurt either… 😉

I want peace, comfort and healing for all of my family, friends and loved ones. This is my only Christmas wish.
This has been a rough year for many people on many levels. I wish them all, friends, acquaintances and strangers, the peace and joy of the Christmas spirit to lighten their burdens. For those who have had a good year, may it continue and be shared at Christmastime. And for all, a happy, healthy, prosperous and peaceful New Year.
I have so much to be thankful for. Two wonderful daughters, a beautiful granddaughter and a special man in my life that loves me “just the way I am” and he thinks I am beautiful and doesn’t mind telling so. With all that said, my
Christmas wish is for everyone to have a good time with family and friends and Bless everyone that lends a hand to those less fortunate. Also I want to thank the many men and women that keep our country safe and protect our freedom.
My Christmas list this year isn’t for material things….although that would be nice. My wish (and prayer) is that my family will be blessed with peace, happiness and good health. I love this time of year and am reminded of the song by my favorite singer of all time, Elvis, “Why Can’t Every Day Be Like Christmas?” MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL……
I’ve asked Santa for a job. 🙂
