  1. Hello from Boston!
Was just checking your sweet potato pie/casserole recipe… is the version with the streusal topping served hot as part of the meal or is it dessert? Would you ever eat that cold or how do you reheat it if you were bringing it to someone’s home???

Thanks so much for sharing your recipes – I use your apple pie as my go to all the time – it is the best!
    Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Well let’s just say its gonna be a Christy Jordan Thanksgiving at our house. Just made 2 loaves of your banana bread, not really for thanksgiving but the bananas were going bad and I had everything to make it, making your mix in the pan crust x2, your pecan pie, your sweet potato casserole, what else. Yum, ever since I bought your cookbook these are the things among other holiday favorites that I have been so excited to cook!! Yippee, smells yummy in my house how about yours?!?!
    Happy Thanksgiving!!!

  3. Made the cornbread today – crumbled and in the fridge. All the makings for the “pink stuff” are also standing by along with 8 pounds of sweet potatoes to cook. We are ready for a Christy Davis Jordan Thanksgiving Feast!

  4. Hi Christy,

I am making you Tender Roast & Veggies this week and just wanted to know if you can do this in a large crockpot. I’m afraid if I use my big crockpot that everything will dry out.

    Thanks for you wonderful recipes!

  5. I could eat a plate of that food right now! Guess what I just got finished doing? I just re-read your adventures in NY! I love NY and would like to go back some time. Hope to talk to you later today or tomorrow.
