This holiday season, Kraft Foods teamed up with celeb Chef Marcus Samuelsson to bring in an exclusive recipe collection new content pack for on their iPad app Big Fork Little Fork. In celebration of this new addition, Kraft Foods is giving away a 16GB Wi-Fi iPad to one lucky Southern Plate Family member along with the downloadable app to spice things up for moms and their kids during this holiday season.
But first, a little bit more on how the app can help you -and your the kids- out in the kitchen. The new content pack contains globally-inspired recipes, how-to videos, and a ton of tips and tricks from Marcus himself to show just how easy it is to get everyone involved in creating meals together. The new content is really Marcus designed the content pack to bring both parents and children into the kitchen to make cooking a family affair (and a fun one at that!)
And now for the fun part: bringing this virtual cookbook into the kitchens of your readers! Below are some screenshots of the app and a recipe from the new content pack.

this year, i’m making lasagne for christmas dinner at my mil’s house. all 4 generations love it.
I have an old recipe for Beef Pot Pie that I’ve made for almost 20 years for my family. It’s a definite treat in our house!
My boys are all grown up now, but any time they are both at home during the holidays it does’nt matter what we make together its just special being with them! and fighting over who gets to lick the beaters 🙂
At Christmas, I love to make reindeer cookies with my kids. They are made from pre-made refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough, shaped into somewhat of a peanut shape, add pretzels for antlers and M & M’s for eyes and nose, then bake and your done!!! Cute, cute!!
