  1. Now that it is just my husband and me I makehis favorite about once a month. The kids call it “White trach food”. We call it “Yummy”. Cut into cubes, or dice, Spam, potatoes and onion. Fry til crispy, serve it up with seasons of your choice(he likes garlic, salt, pepper, and catsup). Not classy, but neither are we.

  2. I like to try out new recipes often, sometimes they’re keepers and sometimes they are not. When I do find a keeper, it’s pretty much made at least once a week. I think our favorite is smothered pork chops in mushroom gravy with my 4 yr olds request of mashed potatoes. Also bacon green beans and homemade yeast rolls round out the our fave meal.

  3. My family loves the cinnamon coffee cake that I make for breakfast. My husband would tease me that I only made this for company. So recently I’ve made it a point to surprise him from time to time with this cake – just because. One time when we had some friends stay overnight, I made this for them. Their young son wouldn’t touch it until midway through the meal he discovered that there was no “coffee” inside the cake. Not only did he try and love it, he also begged his mom to get the recipe. I guess I should rename it cinnamon crumb cake when children are present. { : -)

  4. My favorite thing to make is Christmas cookies. I have mini cookie cutters and tons of sprinkles. The kids help out and we eat them all throughout the holidays. Can’t wait to start working on them next week.

  5. My favorite thing to make for my family is my glazed ham! I make one each year for Christmas and for Easter. I just can’t buy one big enough, they even love the leftovers! Looking forward to pleasing them again in a few weeks! 🙂
