  1. I love to cook & create meals for my family, but Salisbury steak with gravy is one of their favorites. One of my favorites to cook when I’m tired, is a couple of boxes of flavored rice (Rice a Roni) with left over side dishes. If I have odds & ends of chicken, pork or beef that would not give everyone a good portion, I’ll add that also. I just cook the rice according to boxed directions & then add chopped vegetables and meat if I have any…to create a warm comfort food. I can sneak in vegetables my family may not like, like Brussels sprouts- which are chopped up & looked different. So easy & delicious!

  2. One thing I like to fix for my family is meatloaf. My husband and son really like it. It is one thing that my picky teenager will eat. Hot out of the oven and then some of the left over for sandwichs. I really enjoy your website. I look forward to reading it every day.

  3. I love your Apple Dapple cake recipe..I have made it three times since Thanksgiving and will be making another one this weekend!

  4. My favorite recipe to make with my children is my “Mimi’s” famous vegetable soup!! It is delicious, and my kids love dumping all the ingredients in!

  5. I Love To Make Homemade Macaroni and Cheese. I Am Always Told It Is The Best They Have Eaten. Of Course I Only Use Kraft Shredded Cheese And Kraft Singles….It Is The BEST !!!

  6. My husband travels during the week. When he comes home on Fridays, his favorite supper is vegetable beef soup. I save leftover veggies from meals in freezer containers and “clean” out the freezer for this soup. Makes him happy!
