  1. Everyone loves my “Italian Macaroni & Cheese” on Christmas Eve, and I let the boys help cut the ham and shred the cheese. They also love putting Hershey’s Kisses on the wooden tree that sits on my kitchen counter top. And for Christmas morning we love the “Davenport Brunch” casserole (or breakfast casserole, as the boys call it).

  2. My family loves banana pudding and it is one of my favorite things to make. It was one of the first things that Mama taught me to make. My job was slicing the bananas and layering then with the cookies.

  3. I love the mexican snowball cookies and we all especially love the mac and cheese, not to leave out your great blog and recipes.

  4. One of the kids favorite recipes is my apple pie. I make mine in the fall when the golden delicious apples are in. There is nothing like the smell of a homemade A-pie as my 25 year old son calls it.

  5. My daughter and I have loved making Hopkins County Stew which is my husband family recipe they brought back from Hopkins County TX when my mother in law was young. My mother in law made huge pots and shared with friends and neighbors when they were ill. Since my now 28 year old daughter was young we have enjoyed doing the same. We have friends that email us going cough, cough. We joy the making, the sharing and the eating. We are so bad we eat it cold. We even give it as Christmas gifts to those in the family that don’t go by the traditions my mother in law set years ago.
