  1. For Christmas, we have all the usual things, turkey, roast, ham, and all the sides. But what we also have been having for the last 20 or so years, is white beans. Years ago, my boys and some of my nephew’s said that we had to have them. So now they just have to be on our Christmas Table. Then we have all of the favorite desserts. Pecan pie is a favorite, but I think this year your Holly JUmbles, both the rice krispy and the peanut ones, will take first place. Got them all made and ready to go. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

  2. I love to make pancakes, sausage, and eggs for my family on the weekends. My kids seem to look forward to the weekends now. We are building a lifetime of memories through pancakes. Who would have ever thought that was possible.

  3. My daughter (17 months) LOVES crescent dogs with cheese, chicken afredo over penne pasta and mashed potatoes. She loves them so much that when I make them I give her an empty bowl and her own potato masher. She loves pretending to mash taters (as she calls them) while I make the real ones!

  4. a family favorite here is chicken and dumplins. now, thats my kids . my husband not so much, his fav is pinto beans and fried potatos and cornbread. so, for everyone to have their favs i usually end up in the kitchen all day cooking both meals. another fav that the whole family will agree on is homemade pizza

  5. Our favorite recipe is chicken teriyaki. It’s a recipe given to me from my mother in law and my 4 yr old twin boys love it. They help mix up the sauce while I cut the chicken into bite size pieces. While it’s cooking they are staying close to the kitchen just to smell it. They call it “brown chicken”. We make this often!
