This holiday season, Kraft Foods teamed up with celeb Chef Marcus Samuelsson to bring in an exclusive recipe collection new content pack for on their iPad app Big Fork Little Fork. In celebration of this new addition, Kraft Foods is giving away a 16GB Wi-Fi iPad to one lucky Southern Plate Family member along with the downloadable app to spice things up for moms and their kids during this holiday season.
But first, a little bit more on how the app can help you -and your the kids- out in the kitchen. The new content pack contains globally-inspired recipes, how-to videos, and a ton of tips and tricks from Marcus himself to show just how easy it is to get everyone involved in creating meals together. The new content is really Marcus designed the content pack to bring both parents and children into the kitchen to make cooking a family affair (and a fun one at that!)
And now for the fun part: bringing this virtual cookbook into the kitchens of your readers! Below are some screenshots of the app and a recipe from the new content pack.
The interface is colorful, interactive, informative, and FUN!

I love to cook turkey dinner, everyone likes to help baste the turkey and taste test the gravy for the mashed potatoes! YUM! YUM!

I love to make chirstmas cookies with my great-niece Savana any kind of cookies. She is 5 years old and loves to be my helper in the kicthen. She wants to be a cook when she grows up so she tells me she has to learn from me cuz her Mommy doesn`t cook
One of my favorites was Mama’s Jam Cake, we always had it every year, no one can make it like Mom did.
Chocolate Microwave Cake is what both our sons ask for. We’ve been making it for 22 years. Still the best.
My favorite recipe is the mix with tags for gifts for the Pecan Pie Muffins! Everyone that tries them, LOVES them! All the ladies at my church think I’m such a great cook & I owe it all to Sputhern Plate &Christy.
