This holiday season, Kraft Foods teamed up with celeb Chef Marcus Samuelsson to bring in an exclusive recipe collection new content pack for on their iPad app Big Fork Little Fork. In celebration of this new addition, Kraft Foods is giving away a 16GB Wi-Fi iPad to one lucky Southern Plate Family member along with the downloadable app to spice things up for moms and their kids during this holiday season.
But first, a little bit more on how the app can help you -and your the kids- out in the kitchen. The new content pack contains globally-inspired recipes, how-to videos, and a ton of tips and tricks from Marcus himself to show just how easy it is to get everyone involved in creating meals together. The new content is really Marcus designed the content pack to bring both parents and children into the kitchen to make cooking a family affair (and a fun one at that!)
And now for the fun part: bringing this virtual cookbook into the kitchens of your readers! Below are some screenshots of the app and a recipe from the new content pack.

One thing I like to make with my family is potstickers. They take a while to make so it’s fun to make them with someone else helping you.

I guess the best compliment on them had to be from a co-worker. She is a vegetarian and after I had made a big ole pot for work one day, she approached me and said “You know I’m a vegetarian…. but those are the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth! How’d you make ’em?” She got a big hug for that!!

My 5yo loves to get into the kitchen with me and help with anything I am making from chicken stew to chocolate chip cookies to breads and everyday dinner.
Our favorite tradition is having sausage rolls and hot chocolate every Christmas Eve. They are made with a sausage patty baked in pie crust dough. We have had this for more than 55 years!
We love a dish my nieces and nephews always ask “the Pink Stuff”, a sweet kind of salad.
