  1. There are so many family favorites, it’s so hard to pick just one. Now that my kids are older – we all get involved, and they are turning into awesome cooks. One of our winter favorites is Pasta with Roasted cauliflower and Pancetta. The other winter favorite is Tuscan white bean and sausage stew. By the wway – love the cookbook!

  2. We make what we call “Cheese Potatoes” (you have Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole in your book – pretty much like that). It’s good with everything – and then you can eat the leftovers with scrambled eggs in the morning. And the first morning that we don’t have school (yippee!!) we make cinnamon rolls out of refrigerator crescent rolls, arrange them like a Christmas tree on the baking sheet, and color the glaze green. (my daughter has been taking a cooking class at her high school this semester and she announced last night she would be cooking for us over the Christmas break! Yippee again!)

  3. I have two favorites, first it has become tradition for my kids and I to make buckeyes, sugar cookies and snicker cookies every year around the holidays, we have a big family so we gift them with goodies made from the heart, and our second is Taco soup, my whole family loves this soup.

  4. I just love having a warm, comforting bowl of beef stew or chicken pastry for my family. There is just something about coming into the house on a cold, rainy day and smelling dinner waiting for you. I hope that those memories always bring my family home to our dinner table.

  5. My daughter and I make Etienne’s for Christmas every year. They’re named after her Yorkie- small log shaped date cookies.
