  1. My kids love to make monkey bread. They are 6 and 7 yrs. old and can make it all by themselves and all I have to do is put it in the oven. It is so fun to see them make this together and it is soooo good.

  2. I love making your Apple Dapple cake for friends and family all throughout the year. Being a caregiver for an elderly parent baking is a GREAT stress reliever for me since I have to be somewhat of a “homebody” taking care of mom.
My sister even asked me this past weekend while I was baking if it was like “therapy” for me and I guess I realize then that it really was “therapy” for me to bake something so delicious and homemade to give to others..especially this time of year when it is the season of giving.

  3. One of our favorite dishes is Cavatini. You can make it quickly, pasta, tomato sauce, ground beef, pepperoni and cheese – favorites of my crew. Delicious 🙂

  4. My family loves an old family recipe of my mother-in-law. It is called John Mazetti. Quick to fix and you usually have most, if not all of the ingredients on hand. Debra Grubbs

  5. My daughters and I love to cook together but, unfortunately, don’t often have the time. Monday we had a “snow day” (there was 2 inches of snow at our house, we live south of Nashville, so schools were closed) and made homemade hot chocolate, Christmas sugar cookies, and the coconut merigue pie from Southern Plate…it was wonderful!
