  1. we love to make for thanksgiving and Christmas Cranberry apple salad and for dessert we always love pound cake. These are our favorites during the holidays and all year long.

  2. 3 Meat Lasagna
Each of us is responsible for seasoning and cooking one of the “meat” portions of the lasagna…beef, pork and chicken. Then we all take turns adding ours to the recipe…so, we are all involoved layer after layer. 🙂 Its lots of fun and definitely keeps us in the kitchen together and at the table as well.

  3. It has been tradition in my family to eat an early Christmas Eve dinner and then have leftovers and all the goody snacks that Mom and Granny had made throughout the season. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to make all those delcious cookies, candy (mmmm…granny’s peanut brittle) and such. But since my husband and I married (27 years, can ya’ believe it????) we have had a Christmas Eve “junkfest” We all look forward to it for weeks. Everyone gets to pick their favorite junk food and we graze on appetizers and the few sweetie treats I have had time to make. The kids have always loved this. They give as much thought to what their junk food pick for the year will be as they do their Santa list. I’m sure this is a tradition that will be passed on to their kids!

  4. We loved creamed chicken on biscuits … or Southern Plate’s chicken planks. My children beg for those every time they see chicken thawing for dinner!
