  1. It is hard to say what my favorite Southern Plate recipe is because my family has loved practically every one I have tried. Before I discovered this site, I was a complete failure in the kitchen. All of that changed when I stumbled across it and I have been cooking for family and friends since. My confidence in the kitchen has soared. Your recipes are easy and cheap and I appreciate the pictures and funny commentary. I was raised in the south too and fell like you are like one of my friends. I really love the buttermilk biscuit recipe, I use it for both biscuits and dumplings. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate what you do, you have changed our lives and added alot of happiness. Thank you Christy, you are the best….. LaPaula

  2. I enjoy making my mother-in-law’s Chicken Broccoli Bake. I don’t eat it because I don’t like broccoli, but it is my husband’s favorite meal.

  3. We love making what we all call “Green Pasta”. It’s really Pesto Pasta with chicken. However when my kids were little they didn’t really know what Pesto was, so my son just started asking for the “Green Pasta”, and it stuck. They would eat it everyday, if I let them.
Thanks for this opportunity to share!

  5. Southern Plate Dishpan cookies have become a favorite! Also Mac and Cheese with diced green chilies and tomatoes! yum!

Thanks Christy and Kraft for this fun giveaway!
