  1. The thing that I make for my family is called popcorn surprise-you take almond bark, popcorn, peanuts ,preztels, M&M’s and just about anything you want. It is something that my family looks forward to every year!!!

  2. My family’s and friend’s all time favorite is the “Apple Dapple Cake” It has surpassed the “Texas Sheet Cake” as the most requested. It is so easy to make. All I want for Christmas is an elf to peel and core those apples.

  3. My mom and I made cinnamon cut out cookies every year from McCalls magazine and the paper doll Betsy McCall. We had so much fun decorating them and they were delicious.

  4. One of my family’s favorite potatoes is Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes. So easy to make a couple days ahead of time and reheat. Just like fresh Mashed Potatoes. Will share my recipe if you’d like.

  5. I like to make cookies with my 4 year old son. This time of year we make a lot of “cookie doodles” (aka snickerdoodles). The first time my son helped make these cookies for some reason he kept calling them cookie doodles….so the name stuck! 🙂

  6. Oh my gosh, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have an iPad! I love to bake anything, especially sweets, and it tickles me to have my boys help. One of my fondest memories is the day that my now 10 yr old learned how to crack an egg and get it in the bowl successfully. He was so proud, and so was I 🙂 I am known as the mommy that bakes sweets for school fuctions and birthdays (who wants that ol’ store bought mess anyway?).
