  2. My son and his wife discovered this using my Kitchenaid mixer a few months ago. I tried it with chicken breasts and it just whomped the breasts to itty bitty pieces. They weren’t shredded – it was like they were chopped so fine they were almost powder – and I had the paddle blade turned on a MUCH shorter time than you did.

    Also…what about the fat in the beef? Do you pick it out later?

      1. Just tried today with a roast I made in crockpot yesterday. Turned to paste, I guess because it’ wasn’t hot. I watched the video with the sound muted so I missed that point. Doh! Also, I have the KitchenAid so it may be more powerful? Trying to crisp it up in the oven now on a lined baking sheet.
