Don’t you just love seeing the gorgeous food on the cover of each issue of Southern Living? Today I thought it might be fun if you join me in my kitchen while I cook the cover!
Note: I cut the cooking time by about ten minutes when I baked it in a 9×13 pan instead of the suggested springform pan.
For this recipe, pick up a copy of the November 2011 issue of Southern Living or visit them online at SouthernLiving.com (click here to go directly to the recipe).
But I *really* think you should get a copy because there are 103 recipes in this issue alone!

Thank you, Jenny!
Christy,
I’m a fairly new fan and all I can say is……I’m so sad that I didn’t know about you sooner. I found you in an old issue of Southern Living that I was searching through for recipes. I Love your “book reading” section on your blog. I hopeyou don’t ever stop doing that. My 4yo LOVED Pete the Cat…so did I. Thank you for putting together such a wonderful blog.
Love it!! First a blog, then a cookbook and tv appearances and now featured in Southern Living–and on the cover at that. As they say, way to go girlfriend!!! You deserve everything coming your way. Wonderful recipes, wonderful humor and just right down friendly. Feel I’ve know you for ages. Keep up the good work and God bless!
Christy – you deserve your success. Fun, colorful stories, recipes anyone can make, and an outlook on life that is infectious.
Christy —-Love your recipes and your outlook on life 🙂
