Don’t you just love seeing the gorgeous food on the cover of each issue of Southern Living? Today I thought it might be fun if you join me in my kitchen while I cook the cover!
Note: I cut the cooking time by about ten minutes when I baked it in a 9×13 pan instead of the suggested springform pan.
For this recipe, pick up a copy of the November 2011 issue of Southern Living or visit them online at SouthernLiving.com (click here to go directly to the recipe).
But I *really* think you should get a copy because there are 103 recipes in this issue alone!

Thank you, Jenny!
I’ve been reading Southern Living for years and often just look at the recipes and never make them. I am so happy to see you translate their recipe and make it approachable for everyone. If you can do it so can we!!!
just got my copy of Southern Living and can’t wait to try the cover recipe!
This looks so yummy! Can not wait to make it for thanksgiving,i love cheesecake and pumpkin pie so i know this has to be the best.
I have had a subscription to Southern Living for many years and love it. I want to try the Pumpkin cheesecake and am glad you did it in a 9 x13, will try that.
I posted on my fb yesterday and of course liked with my comment…I can’t find it on your website….I really hope it showed up…I have been wanting your cookbook for a long time:)
I was so excited to see that you made it in a 9×13 pan…I really wanted to make it but I didn’t have a spring pan. So now you have made all my dreams come true! Ok not really, but it is quite exciting to think of pumpkin cheesecake!
Sure would love to win your cookbook,Christy, it would be nice to have all the great recipes in one place. Right now I have the ones I like from your website, Southern Plate, saved on the computer, printed out a stuck in another cookbook, in the top kitchen drawer, and down in the couch where I sit using my laptop…needless to say they would be easier to find if they were all in one place
