The Ingredients You’ll Need to Make this Cheese Soup recipe are:
- Borden® Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Butter, Heavy Cream (or milk)
- Onion
- Chicken Broth
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
Note: It is best not to use pre-shredded cheese for this as it won’t melt as well as the block cheese will.
While Brady handles the cheese grating, Katy is getting started with the first step over on the stovetop.
I am specifically using Borden® Cheese here because it is delicious, all natural, and is made by a cooperative of over 8,000 family owned dairy farms across the United States. The cheeses they offer include: Mild Cheddar, Mozzarella, Mexican, Swiss, Sharp Cheddar, American, Colby Jack, and more. They are available in singles, shreds, chunks, slices, strings, and snacks! This is creamy, flavorful, delicious cheese made in our homeland and it just makes every dish better.

At last, a use for my Hungarian paprika.
When my children were home, we always ate together at the kitchen table. No tv. We never ran out of things to talk about. My hubby and I sit occasionally at the table, but always sit at the table with our daughter and her family at their house. I will accept the challenge if I win to sit at the table every night.
Since my retirement my husband I have enjoyed sit down meals together on a regular basis. Some of those meals include dishes made from your recipes. Thank you.
We have family dinner every Sunday after church! Kids, grandkids, grandma’s. Love it and love cheese! Lol
Taking the dare! We always sit down to dinner together (except we call it supper) and I firmly believe all families should do the same. It is a great time to unwind and talk about the days events, our wishes for the furture and anything else that comes up!
Challenge accepted.Great memories are made eating around the table and cooking with family.Great recipe.
