The Ingredients You’ll Need to Make this Cheese Soup recipe are:
- Borden® Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Butter, Heavy Cream (or milk)
- Onion
- Chicken Broth
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
Note: It is best not to use pre-shredded cheese for this as it won’t melt as well as the block cheese will.
While Brady handles the cheese grating, Katy is getting started with the first step over on the stovetop.
I am specifically using Borden® Cheese here because it is delicious, all natural, and is made by a cooperative of over 8,000 family owned dairy farms across the United States. The cheeses they offer include: Mild Cheddar, Mozzarella, Mexican, Swiss, Sharp Cheddar, American, Colby Jack, and more. They are available in singles, shreds, chunks, slices, strings, and snacks! This is creamy, flavorful, delicious cheese made in our homeland and it just makes every dish better.

Hubby and I are trying to eat more healthy meals. The cheese soup looks delicious.
I accept the challenge! With two boys in sports, it’s hard for us all to eat together but we do at least 3 times per week. Last night was family taco night!
My Mom (81) and I have dinner almost every day of the week since my Dad passed away.
Our children are grown and have families if their own…So we all get together as often as we can for a family meal. But my husband and I sit down to a home cooked supper 6 nights a week.
Thanks Christy
This challenge is easily accepted. We have family dinner every night as it is important to us.
This sounds delish! Can’t wait to try it! I cook dinner most every evening for my husband! We prefer home cooked to eating out!
