The Ingredients You’ll Need to Make this Cheese Soup recipe are:
- Borden® Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Butter, Heavy Cream (or milk)
- Onion
- Chicken Broth
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
Note: It is best not to use pre-shredded cheese for this as it won’t melt as well as the block cheese will.
While Brady handles the cheese grating, Katy is getting started with the first step over on the stovetop.
I am specifically using Borden® Cheese here because it is delicious, all natural, and is made by a cooperative of over 8,000 family owned dairy farms across the United States. The cheeses they offer include: Mild Cheddar, Mozzarella, Mexican, Swiss, Sharp Cheddar, American, Colby Jack, and more. They are available in singles, shreds, chunks, slices, strings, and snacks! This is creamy, flavorful, delicious cheese made in our homeland and it just makes every dish better.

- Reduce to simmer and cook, stirring often, for about ten minutes.
- Add in shredded cheese and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted.

I accept the challenge. My husband and I and whatever children are visiting will make time to talk to each other during dinnertime. Electronic devices are not turned on.
What a great challenge! Accepted! We will be sure to sit down and enjoy hopefully more than one meal as a family
I entered the giveaway on Facebook, but I am a subscriber. I am going to try the Cheese soup. We are retired, so we eat all meals together except Sunday lunch together.
I accept the challenge! We try to eat at least 2 or 3 times a week. Gives us the opportunity to catch up.
Challenge accepted and done already! Had chicken fajitas for lunch today. My child loves soup and loves cheese, so this recipe we must try!
Challenge accepted and soup looks great!
We had this soup last night and it was great! Saturday nights are family nights in our house. After dinner, we play cards or board games, go for a walk when the weather is nice, or watch a movie. We each take turns picking what activity it will be. The soup was delicious and everyone could make it the way they wanted. I put out different ingredients for my family to choose to add to their bowls. These included bacon, broccoli, ham, sliced up polish sausage (my favorite), cooked corn, and onions. There were no leftovers. Thanks for a great recipe.
