The Ingredients You’ll Need to Make this Cheese Soup recipe are:
- Borden® Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Butter, Heavy Cream (or milk)
- Onion
- Chicken Broth
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
Note: It is best not to use pre-shredded cheese for this as it won’t melt as well as the block cheese will.
While Brady handles the cheese grating, Katy is getting started with the first step over on the stovetop.
I am specifically using Borden® Cheese here because it is delicious, all natural, and is made by a cooperative of over 8,000 family owned dairy farms across the United States. The cheeses they offer include: Mild Cheddar, Mozzarella, Mexican, Swiss, Sharp Cheddar, American, Colby Jack, and more. They are available in singles, shreds, chunks, slices, strings, and snacks! This is creamy, flavorful, delicious cheese made in our homeland and it just makes every dish better.

This looks so delicious!!
Hubby and I have dinner together most nights, and cheese is often a part of the meal, either in it as an ingredient or afterward to finish off the meal. Love your blog, FB, and videos!
This soup looks like a winner….delicious and easy to make!
I am thankful and blessed that my Mom was a full time wife and mother to the four of us. Every single day we sat down to dinner as a family. Memories I’ll cherish forever. As a single Mom, I tried to do that as much as possible with my Son and now remarried, I love when my Husband and I sit down at our table and share a meal. TV off, no phones, just the two of us. Just read all the studies that have been done on the benefit of having a meal at the table as often as possible. There are many rewards to reap. If I win the $100, donate it to a local food bank. They always need help this time of year.
