What You’ll Need to Make Strawberryade:
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces (or two cups) fresh strawberries
- Pink Lemonade Crystal Light
- water
How to Make Strawberryade:
Wash and cut the tops off of your strawberries. If a few make it into your mouth, I won’t tell. 🙂
Toss them into your blender, and puree that until it’s all good and liquified.
Put a few inches of water in a two quart pitcher.
Add your Pink Lemonade mix to the water…
…and stir that up until it is dissolved.
Stir in the strawberry puree from the blender.
Fill the pitcher the rest of the way with cold water and stir.
Serve over ice.
If you make this a few hours before, the seeds will fall to the bottom. If you serve immediately, you can strain the seeds out if you prefer, or just leave them!
This reminds me of a Strawberry Julius with a bit of a zesty kick to it! Strawberry is definitely the dominant flavor!

Oh, that sounds good, Julie!
Gives me an idea….maybe try the Crystal Light peach tea and fresh peaches : ) I love peach tea and haven’t found a recipe I really like yet.
I do this with frozen strawberries also. My kids love momma’s lemon berry slush.
Christy, is you wanted it to have a little fizz to it, would you replace the water with club soda, ginger ale or 7up/sprite?
I plan to try this using diet 7-up.
My mom bought peanut butter in those glasses when I was a teenager. (Whoops! I just told my age!!
This is so good…I can’t wait to share it with the family at supper…
Thank you for all the wonderful recipes. I am so glad I stumbled onto your page!
I am so glad you found me too Christa!!! I love having you here!!
Well, obviously I was wrong….I always thought those glasses came from boxes of oatmeal. I do remember Mother getting some kind of glassware out of oatmeal boxes. Can anyone remember what that might have been?
I know exactly what you’re talking about. It was crystal oats and my granny could shake the box and tell you if it was a glass or bowl!
Yes, we collected green sandwich glassware from oatmeal way back when…
