What You’ll Need to Make Strawberryade:
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces (or two cups) fresh strawberries
- Pink Lemonade Crystal Light
- water
How to Make Strawberryade:
Wash and cut the tops off of your strawberries. If a few make it into your mouth, I won’t tell. 🙂
Toss them into your blender, and puree that until it’s all good and liquified.
Put a few inches of water in a two quart pitcher.
Add your Pink Lemonade mix to the water…
…and stir that up until it is dissolved.
Stir in the strawberry puree from the blender.
Fill the pitcher the rest of the way with cold water and stir.
Serve over ice.
If you make this a few hours before, the seeds will fall to the bottom. If you serve immediately, you can strain the seeds out if you prefer, or just leave them!
This reminds me of a Strawberry Julius with a bit of a zesty kick to it! Strawberry is definitely the dominant flavor!

I COULDN’T BELIEVE MY EYES WHEN I SAW THE GLASSES. MY BROTHER AND I MUST HAVE EATEN A DUMP TRUCK FULL OF PEANUT BUTTER SO THAT MY MOTHER COULD HAVE 8 OF THE ICE TEA SIZE AND 8 OF THE SHERBET SIZE . SHE STILL HAS THEM IN HER CHINA CABINET ALONG WITH HER ‘GOOD’ DISHES. TODAY SHE AND MY DAD ARE CELEBRATING THEIR 72nd ANNIVERSARY. EVEN THOUGH SHE DOESN’T REALIZE IT, AND WON’T REMEMBER MOST OF US, THOSE GLASSES WILL BE THERE.
Thanks for sharing this one! I can’t drink sweet drinks anymore, not even my dear sweet tea…so I am always looking for a good sugar free drink to help me get my liquid in…….I don’t like just plain water
I am so glad you can use this recipe!!
OMGosh!! We (the hubby & I) drink pink lemonade crystal light ALL THE TIME!! I never once though of putting strawberries in it!! It is so ON for being our go to drink this summer!! Also…I MUST, repeat – MUST get some of those glasses!! I love them!! I’m SOOOO a southern girl stuck in a Yankee body!! (I was born in VA, I always thought I was southern….hubby says I’m not).
Being ‘southern’ is in the heart honey, don’t matter where you were born and raised. I was born in Michigan but am now happily transplanted in Mississippi now for over a decade and I finally feel like I’m home! (Mom’s from Alabama but Dad’s from the U.P.~thats Upper Peninsula for those who think I’m talkin weird~)
Don’t you just love this site? I can’t wait to try some of this awesome drink!
Have you ever tried the natural sweetener, Stevia? Much better for you than any artificial sweetener.
I had to use frozen strawberries that I’d thawed since fresh berries are not exactly commonplace in Alaska in January, but it turned out great! My pitcher only holds 7 cups but I ended up using the whole pound of strawberry puree and about 2/3 the little cup of pink lemonade powder. Great to have a drink like this in the middle of winter. I think it would be the perfect drink for a little girl’s birthday party or baby shower too. Or Valentine’s Day!
do you think we could use frozen strawberries and not add ice ,???
Absolutely!!
Made this for DH and he loves it! Said, “It’s exquisite and also d@mn good!” LOL! Looks like I’ll be making it for him again!
