YUMM!! These Butterscotch Chow Mein Candies are super simple and my kids go crazy over them! A great cooking project for any kid to do with their parents!
Love these and ones made with chocolate chips also.
Brought a smile – my mother-in-law always made these at Christmas and my kids loved them. Neat memory – thanks!
Love these candies! I sometimes add peanuts to them.
My godmother, Aunt Vlasta, made these the first time I had them. My dear sweet momma loved anything butterscotch so we had these on a regular basis in our home in the 60’s and 70’s. Thanks for bringing back a sweet memory, Christy and your handsome son!
We used peanut butter chips and chocolate chips as well. Real tasty. Can also use peanuts in place of the PB chips
We call them haystaks as well but use a bag of butterscotch and a bag of peanut butter chips and use the potato sticks like the other lady said. Its got a flavor combination that cant be beat.
Thank you, Brady! You did a good job. They look good…I’ll try them soon. Merry Christmas!
