Good Morning! Last weekend I got together with a few of my friends who claimed they couldn’t make good biscuits and taught them how to make three different kinds! Everyone’s biscuits turned out beautifully and the great news is that my husband recorded the whole thing so I can bring my Biscuit Classes here to you, as well.
This is the first time we’ve done something like this so there are kinks to work out, of course, but I think this first effort turned out pretty good. We hope to purchase another camera before recording the next series of classes, so you can see my friends off camera more throughout the class. All in all, I think the video makes you feel like you are there, which, for me, is the next best thing to actually having you there :).
Thank you so much for watching and please comment below if you found this video helpful. I have been pleasantly surprised by all of the positive feedback on my “Answering Questions” series of videos and your comments and encouragement have been directly responsible for me doing more!
The links to recipes mentioned in this video can be found below. There is an ad that plays before the video (sometimes) in order to help fund a second camera :). Thanks for your understanding and support!

Stay tuned for more videos from my Biscuit class! Before we’re done I’ll teach you how to make every biscuit shown on this table (yup, they’re all biscuits!). Next time, we’re going to bring a real camera with us, too 🙂
Classic 3 Ingredient Biscuits as taught in the video on this post.
oh my gosh! I made biscuits! That my husband liked! He does the cooking (I got mad 29 years ago and quit trying to cook-we’ve been married 30) normally and I retired last year, so I have been trying to learn to cook -SOME. Love love love this teaching video. I did it! With your help of course. Thank you so much! I’m ready for the next ones….
Please-more videos! When I watched your biscuit video and s
aw you take a water glass to cut out biscuit
s, it brought back memories of me sitting in my grandma’s kitchen and watching her cut out biscuits with a water glass. Thanks for the memories
I am so glad you like the video John, I wasn’t really sure how it would turn out. My grandmother used a glass as well, along with her mother, and probably her mother before that! Aren’t those precious memories the best! 🙂
Nothing’s better than a southern biscuit. I can’t wait to try and make them. I loved the video because I’m a visual learner. ( I also loved seeing the girls jumping on the trampoline behind you.) It made me feel like I was at my friends house learning this. Thanks for your knowledge and humor.
Thank you for watching Katie!! I hope you enjoy the biscuits!!
Thanks, some very good hints on making biscuits.

Just loved the video Christy, biscuit making was always my biggest challenge,I grew up watching my momma,big-momma and aunt make biscuits, but I never took the time to really make homemade biscuits. Thank You Christy, you made it look so simple.
I hope you will try your hand at making them Annette, I would love to hear if it helped!!
Thank you so much for the video on how to make biscuits. Christy dear, I love to cook and cook so many of your wonderful recipes, but making biscuits has been one thing that i have not accomplished. I just do not know what happens so i have resorted to buying canned biscuits. I am just thrilled after watching your video. I have hope that I can do this tomorrow morning when i prepare my family breakfast. Thank you so much for making me feel like a wonderful cook. Love Pam
I am so excited to hear how your biscuits turned out Pam!!! 🙂 I know you can do it!!
