Good Morning! Last weekend I got together with a few of my friends who claimed they couldn’t make good biscuits and taught them how to make three different kinds! Everyone’s biscuits turned out beautifully and the great news is that my husband recorded the whole thing so I can bring my Biscuit Classes here to you, as well.

This is the first time we’ve done something like this so there are kinks to work out, of course, but I think this first effort turned out pretty good. We hope to purchase another camera before recording the next series of classes, so you can see my friends off camera more throughout the class. All in all, I think the video makes you feel like you are there, which, for me, is the next best thing to actually having you there :).

Christy dear, I love to cook and cook so many of your wonderful recipes, but making biscuits has been one thing that i have not accomplished. I just do not know what happens so i have resorted to buying canned biscuits. I am just thrilled after watching your video.   3. Loved it reminded of my grandma teaching me how to make them! Thanks for the memories I miss her so. She had a old metal kitchen table we would roll or pat them out on depending on how many people were there, right on that. We put them in the oven and grandpa kept an eye on them while we sat on the swing drinking iced tea!

    I remember watching my Grandmother making biscuits and if she had a busy day ahead, she just patted the dough in a pan or skillet and baked it. My mom made the best bread pudding with leftover biscuits. She would also split a leftover biscuit, butter it, sprinkle on brown sugar and cinnamon, and toast in oven. Yum.
