My daddy was very special to me. Lost him in 2018 so though Father’s Day can be a solemn time I still think of him grillin’, smiling and soaking up all the attention on Daddy’s Day.

Aunt Sue’s Pound Cake looks just like the one my Mom used to make for my Dad that he LOVED! He is no longer her (neither is she) but I intend to make this cake for the memories made over food from my childhood! Thanks for sharing this!

Great recipes, the pound cake looks wonderful! The BBQ and cucumber salad complete the meal, or is it the other way around??? Oh well, life is uncertain, I’ll have dessert first!
I love fried chicken, and this recipe looks easy. I love the Cherry Cream Cheese Pie. And it’s nice in summer when you don’t want to cook.
Sorry that your Dad isn’t physically with you anymore 🙁 I lost my Dad 7 years ago. I know he’s still with me every day. Cucumber salad was one of my Dad’s favs too. I can’t wait to try those meatloaf burgers – never would have thought of making meatloaf into burgers – pure genius!!! I’ve never tried making fried chicken – maybe because I’m afraid I will like it too much and eat it all the time (lol) – yours looks delicious….
